"That stuff" MAY have been the cause of my hepatitis last fall. No final cause was every determined. I never mentioned the fish to the dr. and still don't plan too ... too disgusting to even think about.

Actually Ostrow, if water conditions are kept optimal, ones tank should have roughly the same water parameters as most natural bodies of water. If fish tank water were truly that disgusting, the Japanese would be making some exotic sort soup of it by now...
