I love my Leopard Ctenopomas, or whatever you want to call them  they seem to have so many different names

I currently have four Leopard Ctenopomas, ranging from the smallest being less than an inch, to the largest being about 4" long. They all get along very well together, and all have different personalities.

They are an absolute joy to watch! :fun:

Just sharing some pictures :good: If anyone else has some pictures of these guys please share! I'd love to see them!

Still waiting for pictures

BTW just a little fact that I learned the hard way... Ctenopomas HATE leporinus fasciatus fish

Those are lovely  Ive never seen them before...
Btw i have the same ship in my tank but it seems youve taken off the sails?

Yeah I took the sails off pretty quickly... I didn't like them too much  There was another ship in my LFS that was more expensive but didn't have sails, so I opted for that one and took them off myself

Some pics of mine when i had them, Ive since sold all my fish to move to reptiles :)

My largest was roughly 7" when i sold them with the female slightly plumper but smaller

Oh wow, those look wonderful!

Question, so far I've only been able to feed them flake (and they have absolutely no problem eating it) but what did you feed yours? Their coloration is magnificent! Mine are still nice colored but it's not as bold and pronounced like the ones in your pictures.

Bloodworm, chopped prawns, pellets (choose a size they can eat if yours are small) mine (4 ranging from 4" to 6") eat anything I offer.

The more naturalistic cover you offer the better they look, mine grew more and more bold aswell, by the time i sold all my fish my pair would actually come out to meet me and also hand feed.

Mine were a male and female pair so i think that helped even more with their marking and colouration :)

Food wise mine ate anything from chopped worms to sand eel, prawns, mussel, guppies, mollies the lot :)
