Fish Herder
They do love some bacon
When I was a wee lad, we would bait a fishing lure swivel with bacon and drop in the local creek. When a crayfish would grab the bacon we would then lift them out of the creek. Usually they would let go before we got them on the bank. We later made a trap with window screen forming an open box whose sides would fold down and attach fishing line to the top of each side. When a crayfish crawled into the center to get the bacon, all it took was a quick vertical motion to raise the sides and trap the crayfish. I put one in my aquarium but never fed him bacon, so he ate fish that got too close.
