Hi.

I have:

2 Lemon Tip Tetras,
2 Neon Tetras,
2 Glolight Tetras,
1 Bulldog Pleco,
1 Guppy,

Tank is 54 Ltire / 11 gallon.

50% water changes are done every week.

Only additive is "king British water safe" at water change (which is added to the fresh water befor it is added to tank)

Temp is kept at 24¤C.

Water checks are performers every week. Latest results:
Ammonia 0
NitrIte 0
NitrAte 20
PH 6.4/6.8

One of my lemon tips appears to have lost an entire section of his face.

His mouth and eyes are fine, but he appears to have had the section which I would call his chin removed.

There is just a hole under his mouth.
He still swims around and seems ok, he eats and still "hangs around" in his group as normal.

There is no fluff or gunk around the hole.

I am tempted to believe this is an injury rather than something caused by illness.

I have both "King British Methelyne Blue" & "King British Desease Clear"

*Which should I use? Or can I use both?*

My plan was to give him baths in order to prevent fungus/bacterial infections & also to help him in repairing the hole. However trying to remove him from the tank is difficult and I know it causes him some stress which I know won't help, so although i would like to bath hime every day i cannot do this and so hope to do it every 3 days.

*Does anyone have any advice on netting Tetras?*

All of them are very difficult to catch and any advice to reduce their stress at this time would be helpful.

Thankyou

The hole has got bigger.

I would appreciate some advice on which treatment I should use.
