Not a problem. Second hand Live Rock is the best way to go otherwise you end up paying twice as much for the same thing. a 6ft tank is about 150g (UK) or 180g (USA). You will need about 70-80kg of Live Rock, turnover we generally aim for 20x the system volume per hour. How deep a sand bed would you like, a couple of cm or a few inch? I don't mind helping you set up if you want me to?

as deep as poss m8 as far as the sand goes not alot of sand to me doesn't look right

Andy sorry to ask this as it might be difficult, aside from the tank can u give me a list of what i will need for a 6ft tank,,,,,,then i can take this list to a marine store....like i said sorry if its a pain and im being a pain..

hi andy sorry im pestering u about this but im still a learner ive ordered that book u mentioned to me,,,,its all systems go on Saturday now had to arrange a van and something to carry water, tank etc in from pet shop then its onto osset for live stock i'd love your help buddy if u can....never received anything via msn,,,,,my phone no, 01132631546...look forward to hearing from u pal

Ok a bit too soon for live stock. Need to fill the tank, get the sand and rock in then leave for couple of days. Then we can start testing the water. If stats are all clear then we can add livestock otherwise its a slippy slope going downhill.
