Heehee, thanks guys! She really is a little cutie. I love watching her...makes me realize how much I've missed having lizards around. :)

earthgirl - The pinheads are actually a little too big for her...at least the ones around here are. Theres only one place that sells pinheads around here, and I think they have no clue what size a pin head actually is. :/ But no matter. The little fruit flys are going down real good.

So tiny  What kind of anole? :D Be sure to spray her every day, they don't really drink out of water bowls, unless yours does of couse, I've never seen an anole that looks like that :/ She has a shorter snout than the ones I've chased in florida :dunno: Good luck with Samus

its tiny!!!! you really won't be able to sex it for sure until its a little bigger. juvie males will exhibit female traits for a time. when i first got my three, i though the male was a female due to shwing the the diamonds down the back. turns out, he had been in an all male tank and just wasnt top lizard so he didn't exhibit the male traits. three days of being with my girls and he turned green, the diamonds were barely noticeable, and i could see how his head was bigger than the girls. eventually he "flared" for the ladies (i love when he does that, its the coolest thing to see).

since this one is a wild one, you may want to hold off a bit before you get more. one to let it grow so it can compete for food with the new ones, but also to be sure it didn't bring any nasties with it, a little quarantine and grow out time.

enjoy your little one!!!!!

dwarfs - I have no clue what type she is, but I've been looking. She does get sprayed twice everyday, and she actually does use the water dish but not for drinking...I have the tiniest bit of water in it (in case she drowns herself), and she sorta swims and wades in it. It's really cute.

MAM - Thanks for more advice! I agree that the males look amazing when they flare...the red and green is just awesome.  And you totally took the thoughts out of my head when you mentioned I shouldn't get any tank mates for her for a while. I was planning on getting some about a month after I got her settled in, but after I saw her size for the first time, I knew that there was no way I could do that. So, I'm going to let her grow big and strong by herself, and when she's got at least a 3-4 inch body size (and is eating crickets), then I will introduce some friends for her. :D
