Well i finally got round to getting some pics of the tank with all the L.R in there now, there was so much that two big pieces had to go into the sump!. Ive got some pics done with my new camera, but the batteries ran out, so i did the rest with the old one unfortunately, still trying to figure out the new one so pics arent neraly as good as they can be.

A free mushroom i got with some culeurpa, i put it in the main tank but it got blew around, i thought i had lost it, but 3 weeks later it appeared on the sand, so i got it on a piece of rock, which it took to brilliantly. Its about 1.5" across, the fan worm under it is about 1" across!

And to aquascape it again wasnt that bad, it only took me 45mins, and i only got TWO!!!, of those spines in my hands aswell.
Will get more pics when i get some more batteries.

Awesome Pictures!!!

I like the Urchin. My 28 gallon tank all of the sudden has one (Cant tell if its a black or purple one yet but it has spines like yours) that is growing like a weed and another one that is now really starting to grow. I never saw them until a month ago. I have had that tank going for 4 months now.

How fast has your urchin grown or did you just get him?

I got him last year ( tank was setup in september i think), with spines i'd say it was 5" across, now its around 8", maybe 9!, and even though his size, its amazing some of the spaces he can get into!

I love your tank, so colourful, makes me wish I had gone with a long tank and not my cube :kewlpics:

nice pics leon. I'm thinking about starting a reef tank.

What kind of fish is this?

WOW!

have only recently started tropical fish keeping but seeing a tank like yours just make me wanna set up a marine tank.

superb Leon!

By the way, i live in Chester, not too far from you in Crewe (about 40 mins with my foot down!!). Can you recommend any good LFS's near or around? Am just starting to set up a 55 gallon Mbuna/Malawi cichlid tank. No fish yet and am finding it hard to find anywhere with a decent/different selection.

Am willing to travel a little to get what i want.

thanks in advance

How many gallons you got there???
Thanks for all the kind comments  :*) , even im suprised how it looks, luckily for me though, the missus is just as eager to do things as i am, and as we dont live together, theres no money arguements :D .

The tank itself is 112gal (uk), with a 25gal sump aswell, the tank is only 18" wide due to room space :/ , otherwise it would be a 6' x 2' x 2' tank, hoping to get a bigger tank sometime this year, hopefully nearly 8' :D (hopefully :dunno: )

npirate: that fish is a regal tang (or palatte surgeonfish)

thebaldranger: There are a few fish shops i go to, i travel all over the north west, but mainly only go for marines now, theres the wyevale garden centre near oulton park, theyre ok-ish, a bit up the road is blakemere, not bad either, but for chiclids, theres a place in crewe, near the town centre that has loads of them, thats the main type of fish he does, if you go to victoria community high school (op. asda), down a street at the back (meredith st i think???) the a turning op the school called chetwode st. he's right at the very bottom, does lizards and a few other fish aswell.
cheers,
leon.
