Yesterday a box came in the post with some very special contents. I opened the box very carefuly as I knew what was inside. After trying to attack the layers of tape as carefully as I could I finally got into the polystyrene protective fish carying box, inside of which was a small bag a third full of water....

And so, today I present to you.... "Thai", aptly named after his place of birth!

He was bred by Miracle betta in Thailand

It certainly is a beautifully formed Crowntail... I've seen him flare once and wow it was gorgeous but I havent caught it on camera yet. I took this picture, he's currently in a large sweet jar until his 5 gallon planted tank clears up enough to put him in.

He cost £23GBP including shipping.

Very cool betta! He kinda reminds me of a bird for some reason! I think his fins look like feathers!
