Well, its only been in there for a day so I can't tell you algae or plant wise, but its much better than T8s....its only rivaled by metal halide lamps...I can see every stalk of my amazon swords clearly and brightly! Will get pic soon one sec

I think I'll upgrade then, my light is definately lacking. 17 watt T8 on my 29. Does it show off the fish better too?

The Sparkling Gouramis are getting a nice reflection off of the light, very purdy...maybe even FOTM purdy

The reflectors are the best, they're making my moonlights look AMAZING!~

How any do you use? Are they easy to install? Do they work well?

They're quite small, with adhesive on the back and some screws (doesn't actually dig into light fixture, forgot how it workss) They are incredibly easy to install, work beauitful, and yes you need the power supply its the actual cord you use to plug into a socket. I'll get pics in a second

So you have 2 then. Do you think it's worth it, or would you either buy something else or not have them at all? At $50 for your setup, prolly $60 if I did it with mine it's a bit expensive.

Well, my dad insisted on getting white and blue, while I just wanted one color. It's smaller and more conviniant than others, but its hard finding a descent spot to put on light fixtures. Most LED setups are expensive, you're going to have a hard time finding cheaper ones.
