If a cop even saw me remove a fish from the water I'd be placed with a big fat 5000$ fine. It was purely catch and release by law. I did get to eat salmon afterwards though. My favourite cockatoo is the molluccan (sp?), aka the salmon-crested. There is a bird-zoo about 20 miles away from me that has a beautifully tame specimen, who just loves his neck to be tickled (which I have to do, in spite of the warning signs that birds can bite. Well, duh).
When I was a teenager, I used to own an African Grey, so they are my most favouritest of the parrot family.
