Trying to think of what else to add to my display tank.

29 gallons: 16 espeis rasboras, 3 cherry barbs, 1 platy, 1 clown plec, will have 2 German blue rams.

Not really because the espeis are small and the clown doesn't make much waste.

As far as fish to add to your tank MoF, I'd suggest just letting the GBRs settle in first and see how that turns out.  If they settle in nicely, you might want to just hold serve there - as a pair of GBRs might actually breed and the extra space in the tank will provide the other fish in the tank a place to get away from the less than pleasant GBRs.
