Because in the larger side I'm gonna put tank mates in there, but the other one kills anything I put with it....

Ah, just wondered. That a Penn Plax Divider? If so, watch the mesh stuff. It melts away and there have been so many cases of male betta's getting in to each others area.

The mesh stuff sort of disintegrates. I have a picture that someone on the Betta Splendens FB group posted of one of theirs. Hang on.

huh, weird. i have never heard of that before. i have one in the cray tank to separate momma cray and the new babies and the only problem i have had is that it doesnt stay clear and it appears to be scratched and it wont come clear again
