Well I've nearly come to the end of my tank stocking and thought I'd put it out there as to the last addition.

Jewel Rio 125

9 Neon Tetras
10 Penguin Tetras
5 Panda Corydoras

I was wanting to get just the 1 Siamese Fighting Betta but after reading on here I guess it might not be best with some of the Tetras.

So what do you reckon then, I would like a different (fancy??) single fish like the Betta but I cannot think of something that will go with the rest.

Any ideas?

Not sure, although I think most fish that you keep alone, are alone for reasons.

Others have to be in groups.

Although im sure someone will know a fish.

:good:

It doesnt have to be a loaner, just fancy something a little different.

How about a pair of honey Gouramis. They are only small compared to other Gouramis but are very pretty, active and peaceful fish.

A couple of Apistos?

a few honey gouramis
a pair of bolivian rams , or golden balloon rams (variation of the german ram)

bolivian rams
apisto's
keyhole cichlids
Kribs

any dwarf cichlids....would be great in a 125l.

dwarf gouramis...are nice but very suspectiable to illness. Other smaller gouramis are good too, like honey etc....

Yup, a nice pair of Apistogramma is what I'd go for. I had a breeding pair of A. agassizi in my community tank with a similar stocklist and they made brilliant centrepiece fish.
