im sure yur tank i sufficient but i would feel bad keeping an oscar in their. He absolutely dwarfs the tank.

The tank is like 79g, i know it doesnt look to big but belive me its just the shot, see how big the oscar is? he is just over 11" and you can fit more than 4 of him across that tank.

fishy you can talk....you have a sevrum in a 55...when he's full size (unless you tank upgrade) he's not going to dwarf the tank...he'll shrimp it!!

huh, sevs can easily be kept in a 55g when full grown, 40g is mininum

you may say that now but have you seen a full size sev....??

well i have and there huge you wouldn't keep an oscar in anything less than a 75g and sevs only get a tinny winny bit smaller.

I am good friends with a lady who owns a marine store here called Seaquariums. She has shown me photos of tanks she custom builds for people.
One of the tanks she built is 5000G. The guy who owns it keeps sharks in it. I don't know what species of shark they are, but they only grow to 6 ft. This guy set up the tank and literally built his house around. With a tank that big, you can't just cut off your roof and tear out a room to make space for it. Well, I guess you could, but that would be too much work.
This tank is built into the wall of a room that I believe he has billiard tables set up in.

I would LOVE to have a 5000G tank, but I wouldn't keep sharks in it.
I'd be going for the red-tailed cats!
