What was in it originally? If it was for food use or similar, it will be fine if clean.

I have a tupperware tub I use for fry. In the summer it sits on the mantle piece and in the winter I float it in the tank. Ihave tropicals and never had a problem. Hope this helps.

i plan to breed white cloud mountains minnows in it.. im not sure if its 20 litres but that just a guess..

tupperware tub
For food use, if clean, no issues. Containers for food use are generally made of materials selected not to leach materials into their content.
use to hold art supplies
Shrugs shoulders. What kind of art supplies? Water soluable material? Pigments? Metals?
