i was cleaning my tank before i move it downstairs because of too much sun exposure in my room, i was cleaning it in my bathtub then i dropped it and it chipped about 2inches near the bottom corner, it's not a hole all the way through, but i need it fixed RIGHT AWAY since i put my fish in the other tank it has about 50 guppies in it [it's only a 10 gallon] so it's WAY over stocked!!! please help right away!!!

Oh dear.
Only thing I can suggest off the top of my head as a quick repair if there is no hole is a 2 part epoxy resin that will stick to glass and possibly some duct tape to go over it. When its completly set, I would fill it up outside and make sure there are no leaks and the thing holds.
Although I cant guarantee that it will hold for a long time, but it should be ok as a quick temporary fix.

I see you are in BC, how close are you to the border, I have a few extras I was about to put on freecycle..

If you still have the chipped off bit, get some "glass bond" and stick it back - by far the strongest fix, and should be nigh on invisible. :good:

stick the chip back in then stick a square of glass bigger than the chip right over it (on the inside) should do the trick :good:

but the chipped pieces where broken into about half a centimeter little bits..and already thrown out....i put a sealant thing on it, it seals windows, bath tub, sink etc.

Its not sealing in the water thats the issue... its the strength thats been lost - without the pieces its new glass time

but it didn't go all the way through, the chip just went about 3/4 of the way through, and it's at the bottom corner..so i REALLY sealed it! but i hope it works..so far no leaks in my bathtub.

Even though it didn't go all the way through, that chip has ruined the integrity of the tank and has compromised the safety of your fish. I would replace the glass entirely or get yourself another tank.
