I thought i had 3 yellow labs only 2 have black on them the other doesent and i am pretty sure i can see sort blueish colour stripes and dots on his back fin and an under fin near the back.
Is there a posiblility this is a Pseudotropheus estherae???
He is basically the same sort of shape as the labs.

If its not a lab, its more likely to be a Female/juvenile Saulosi or a Lombardoi male. Not all labs have black markings though and the stripes could be stress bars due to sub-dominance.

Man that was hard to get a pic must have taken like 10 mins. He/She is a juvie only like a 3-4cm body.

Looks like a lab to me, definately not a Lombardoi and almost certainly not a Saulosi. The bars don't look like stress bars so could be a hybrid. Nice fish though so no problem.

Definatly lab caeruleus but i never saw white bars like that in my spawns. Not sure if it is hybrid, do you know what generation fish the parents are? it could be just a poor gene
