L260 Not Eating

As far as I know collection only.

But trust me - it's WELL worth a visit.

Your cheque book won't thank me if you do go though,

Just bought one of these today, i will let you know how i get on with it this week as we could both be in the same position!!

i think he could have eaten some of the pellets that i put right next to his head or the cories could have robbed some

the even sell galaxy rasboras at pier aquatics

My L260 seems to behave totally different... This one is really brave

Really inquisitive and spends most of the time out in the open (even though she has taken the cave). Will see how this pans out when she gets moved to her new home (project tank in my sig)

Another good way of feeding the plec is to remove a piece of bogwood let it dry for a while then put flake food on the damp wood and paint over with egg white, let it dry then pop it in the tank just before lights out. :good:

Tried to feed mine for the first time tonight and the one thing I definately know is that it did move towards where the wafers had been dropped so I'm guessing that's a good thing. the bad thing is that I have a rather over-zealous garra that just goes around battering everything in sight at food time, this isn't too bad because the aggression is spread out amongst all my bottom dwellers but the 260 did not like it one bit!! Then to top things off my usually passive L-205 decided that it wanted the same bit of wafer as the half-it's-size 260. You can guess the outcome there!! There was sand everywhere as the 260 tried to get away but was trapped against a it of bogwood.

So all in all a couple of positives but negative on the aggression front. the problem I have with the garra is that it is my daughter's "pet". The first fish she named and all that, but my Uncle is setting up a tank so I may be able to shift it off to him, in the meantime next door has a tropical et-up so I may bung him in there for a week or so before my Uncle's tank gets set-up to try and let my Queen Arabesque at least get some dining done! Oh the joys of keeping L-numbers.

Sorry to post again, I just watched the garra kick my 260's butt for no reason, just because he was in the way!! That garra has gotta go!

No, it seems OK although it has decided to retreat to the back of the tank today! The garra is going on holiday into next door's tank for a couple of weeks before my Uncle sets his tank up then he is going in there. I would offer him away for free but "Runaway", as my daughter calls him, is sort of the only pet fish I have. She would kill me if he went back to the shop, at least we can still go to my Uncle's to see him this way.
