L number question...

Yesterday I noticed a plec that looked a lot like a zebra plec in our pet shop ... named L46, the zebra plec is L046, is this the same? If so, I might get it ... its 25 euros, about 17/18 pounds ... cant really affort it, but its so tempting!

yep it's all the same and if it is a true zebra L46/L046 i'd snap a few up at that price.

some people add the 0 when it's on 2 digits ovethers leave it out.

They only had one ... so cant snap up a few I'll see if I'll go for it or not ... cant really miss the money right now, and not sure if I've got a suitable tank either. *shrugs* ... would they get along with a bristlenose?

They'll be fine with a bristlenose. Zebra plecs are one of the smaller species, so you won't need an enormous tank.

Remember that L46 is a social plec and needs to be kept in groups. Find the money somehow and snap up three of them!

Trimar (UK's leading mail order fish store) has these at £140 each at the moment!
