Yep definitely sound like calico's, usually red and black mismatched pattern. Very nice fish but quite common in the trade tbh.

Super reds are about £20 or so for 2-3 inch but they will drop in price soon with the amount that's coming into the trade.

its about 2" at the min, it does make me feel better now i know its a BN! I'm at work tomorrow and wouldn't get to take it back. I'm still a bit peeved at the price tag! I might get a male to keep her company now.

Keep the BN and ask them to refund the difference in price or give you another BN free to compensate. If you are in UK they have missold you a fish, labelle dgoods for sale with incorrect description/name and broken the Trade Descriptions Act, a very serious offence in law for a retailer punishable by hefy fines. Just mention that and you will get your refund/free fish!
