Kuli Loaches

I now have 9 Khulis, with 5 - 6 of them being out of hiding a good portion of the day.

I have noticed that they like to sit up in the plants and 'hang there' every now and then. Funny things to watchx

I noticed that too. Mine love to hide under this certain peice of bogwood and before 3 of them were poking there heads out all on the same side next to each other

Hi I was just wondering do kuhlis keep the sand clean of poo by disturbing it so the filter will pick it up? Because I vacuuming alot of poo every time I do a water change.

Well, ever since adding 4 julii corys, the majority of my khulis come out to play. They love digging under the bogwood and sitting up in the plants. I added an airstone bar the other week, to make a bubble curtain, they seem to love it! 4 of them are always swimming up in the bubble curtain, like they are playing.

Come feeding time, they go crazy, it's funny.

I'm not sure about cleaning the substrate, I know that since having my khulis and corys, the top of the sand practically stays clean. My Amanos poop every where, you'll see it one day and the next, it's disappeared!

bought 6 got 7 but now can only see 6 in the tank  hope it's just hiding...

Heh heh!! That sounds familiar: I bought five khulis, but for the last year, have only ever been able to count four.

Until this morning, that is, when I counted five again!!

:hyper:

I have 8 and they often all come out for feeding time :) This guy made me laugh, he just decided to swim around the plants for ages! They do have quite a playful nature which is good to watch.
