Hiya
I'm new to the forum so sorry if I posted this in the wrong place
Anyway I have been running my aquarium for 2 years now
and 3 weeks ago I bought 5 kuhli loaches. They were fine but today
2 of them started to act weirdly. They were swimming in the top and middle sections of the tank.
Please can u tell me whats wrong with my fish and how to cure it?

Hi Newbie,

A Few things come to mind. Do you quareentine the loaches after you bought them or did you just put them in the tank? It could be they were sick when you bought them. Also the difference in the water they came from and your tank water could have shocked them internally. I know they are very sensitive to PH fluctuations.

Either way I hope you find out why they died on you.

John

Hiya
yeah I did quarintine them for half a week
(was that enough)
and I used the drip method when adding them to the tank

oh also some are swimming on their sides
they don't have any sores or anything though
