Just got an 40 gallon aquarium. It came with 11 duvenile cichlids. Venustus, livingstoni, dragonsblood peacock, Taiwan reefs. They are 2-3 inches. Could in introduce some kribs in this tank?

Probably not a good idea.

Kribs are African Riverine Cichlids and would prefer softer water with a lower ph.
And also, unless they are breeding, Kribs are a lot more peaceful than Malawis.

Although it is not recommended. I do actually have a large Krib in with Malawis.

Though, the only reason I have him is bcause he was running rogue and killing everything in my Mum's tank. I understand about the water differences, but he's already come from a hard water environment. The Johanni's have put him in his place and continue to do so when he gets a little - shall we say - up himself. But all in all. He gets along fine, very healthy and yep :)

But as suggested, it's not recommended. Just thought I'd be put in that I have had success with it :)

+1 can't stress this enough.
