i bought to small ones today but i can already sex them
so does that mean they could breed already?

I'd say wait a while, mine bred at 3 but im sure they breed sooner (I got them this size)

It can be hard to tell. They may start at 1 and a half inches, depends on the fish. Post a pic, and I will be able to tell you if theyb are ready to breed.
