Kribensis Pulcher Breeding Diary

They dont really get attacked as such, but mum or dad occasionally swim towards them at speed and scare them off, same as they do any other fish :) I've got quite a lot of cover in there now so im sure it will be fine.
 
I had to lol at mine last night, my kribs are pretty daft, from what i could see the female has laid her eggs in a tube thats just about big enough for her to fit inside. I could look in and see dozens of eggs shaking about violently as the fry tails were poking out and near ready to hatch. Trouble is, one end of the tube was near my filter extracter pipe, im pretty certain a few eggs must have fallen out and got sucked up. I'll soon find out in a few days time. I did move it though, with mum inside poking her head out to nip my finger. dozey things.
