Kribensis Advice Needed Please

I bought a pair of Kribensis last friday (21st May). They seemed to be settling in great and getting along together, they had chosen a cave in the first couple of days, they were both in and out and keeping other fish away from it. Then they started what I thought was the mating process of vibrating next to each other etc, and all was fine till this morning.
The female is sitting in the cave with her head poking out, she comes out occasionally to chase away other fish. The male is hiding under a rock cave and when he ventures out, the female is really aggressive towards him.

Does this mean they are not suited after all?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Other fish in tank are 2 corydoras, 1 rosy barb, 3 mollies & 5 rummynose tetras.

how long as the tank been set up and running
it looks like they might of spawned already
by what your say and the way she is acting
but i was trying to get an history of your tank
and what are the stats of it at the moment

I had a huge problem with Kribs. I had 2 distinguished pairs, one pair would chase the other pair when ever it came into open water. I then got rid of the aggresive pair. Then the okay pair was fine until I lost one to pop-eye. The remaining Krib is still fine, but these fish are semi aggresive.

So it's not odd for Kribs to be aggresive.

This tank has been running just under 2 year, the ph is 7.6 and there are no nitrates, nitrites or ammonia.
The Kribs were getting on fine till today.
I can't be certain because I can't see into the cave, but I dont think she has laid eggs yet because she is leaving the cave too often (only for a few seconds though)
I do have 5 tanks in total, so I am pretty much up to scratch with fish keeping.
The other 4 tanks are as follows.
1 = Guppies only
2 = 4 Silver Dollars, 1 Angel, 2 Rams and a few tetras.
3 = 3 Goldfish
4 = Saltwater Reef containing Yellow Tang, Regal Tang, 2 Clowns, 1 gramma, 1 Chromi, 1 Cleaner Wrasse, 1 damsel and 2 starfish.

nice well to me it sounds like that they
might of spawned like you say you and see
what is in there if they have they will be on the
side or the top which makes it a bit difficult to see
just keep an eye on them for a few more days dose she keep
having a go at him or it just all in general

She has taken to a black ceramic broken plant pot, the base of the pot is higher at the back so it is hard to see inside.
When she comes out, its as though she is looking for the male because she is going to the rock where he is just so she can chase him....and anything else that gets in her way.
She is also looking up when she goes back in the cave, so there might be a chance she has spawned.

Oh well, I will keep an eye on them but I hope she doesn't get so bad that she kills him.....evil woman!

Just an update with a pic if I can add it.

Everything was the same till late last night, when she let the male near her after a few battles, when the lights went out, she was arching her body again for him.......she is playing games!

This morning, he cant get near her again.
She may have laid eggs in the black pot but as you can see from the position, I cant see inside.
Daddy is under the rock on the right of the image.

It's a dominance thing, a bit like they are laying full claim to the eggs, and do not want to share them, even with the dad.
The best way to avoid this is to buy a female which is quite a bit smaller/younger than the male, rather than one of the same size/age. This way, when they first start to spawn together the female is too small to attack the male and so doesn't try to be dominant.
