I have a Krib that for some reason has a haze over his right eye. Not sure what is causing it I was hoping someone here might have an idea. He act's fine and otherwise appears normal. TIA for any help

Edit: ammo 0 nitI 0 nitrA 30ppm

My discus has that too, only on it's left eye. It does not seem to affect it in any way, since it's still acting normal and eating well. It has had it for about 2 weeks. I heard it isn't contagious and really has no negative effects on your fish, other than not looking very pretty. You can treat it with melafix.

My female Angel had the same problem (RIP) because of her mate constantly pecking at her eye. Although hers was some what swollen as well. I treated with Macaryn Tetrocylin (is that right????) and it went away and she was fine!

I wouldn't call that thriving....

Views: 125 Neons and cardinals are usually just weak fish. That's all there is to it. I bought 6 cardinals some time ago and they all died within 2 days. My discus, on the other hand, which some consider a sensitive fish, is thriving. Hmpf. Go figure. "
