Krib Not Pairing

I brought two kribs, a male and a female about 6 months ago.
I hoped they would have paired but that's not the case. 

I've seen the female showing off to the male, but he doesn't seem interested.
And there's plenty of caves to breed in.
 
So i was think maybe i should take the female back to the pet store and get a new female hoping the the new pair would breed? would this work?

yes but my male is a very beautiful specimen and wouldnt like to see him leave
