Krazyturbo's Nano Tank

A warning, I've heard bad things about bio balls, sponges, and mesh things in saltwater tanks, they basically become nitrate factories unless cleaned out literally daily.

Other than that, good job and try to keep your bio-load low.

For those asking about nuking in a 90 gallon tank or 50 gallon take or whatever, the solution to polution is dilution. Since nanos have a small amount of water if somethink suddenly dies and starts to decompose those nasties are concentrated. In large tanks the nasties are deluted and can/might be filtered after you find the carcas.

Here's the pic:

New aquascape and cave continues almost to back of tank, added a skylight in there too.

New seabed, added a layer of crushed coral, brightens the tank up and the fish/clean up crew seem to love it plus there's 1/3 the mess when they are down there eating then I had with my sand :p

Crystal clear water, happy fish, good tests, I <3 My tank right now :)

Did you replace the sand with crushed coral? Bad move, crushed coral can trap nitrates over time, make sure you gravel vac it well each week to avoid a build up.

true there. And i am new, but isn't a damsel too big for a 12 gallon? And I've heard clowns have a hard time in this sized tank, so is it ok to have 3 fish in there?

Damsels will be fine, they dont grow that much bigger, the only problem is they can be aggressive to other tank mates if introduced at the wrong time.
