I've just recently purchased a Kole for my Reef Tank. He is spending most of his time hiding in the caves and swim throughs at the moment but i'm hoping once he settles a bit more he will come out on show. Surprised they are not more popular.

Over here in the US kole's are very popular. I remember when I got mine, he didn't come out more than 2 inches from a cave for at least a month. Now, a year later, I very rarely see him hide. He's easily one of my favorite fish, can't imagine my tank without him

They are beautiful fish that's for sure, IMO most Tangs are some what shy to come out for about three weeks or so. The caves have always seemed to be key to keep them calm within the transition but after that those guys love to rule the front of the tank to show off that amazing swift swimming
