Koi. What Is This?

I was just at my boyfriends this evening and his mom was concerned about one of her best Koi. I went out to take a look and I have no idea what this could even be or if it's nothing to worry about.

If you look closely at the picture, her lip has two pinkish lumps. She is in a pond outside. Not sure on any water conditions. I was only there long enough to grab her daughters camera and load the picture onto the computer.

its either bumped into something or its an infection, id treat it sooner rather than later, take the photo to a good koi outlet and let them tell you what meds you need for it, or for a small fee some do home visits, if you are anywhere near nottingham, go see clinton at the nottingham koi company in hucknall, hes the best around these parts
