my favourite is the shusui IMO , my grandad has always kept mainly them in his pond and there a buetiful fish and come in a lot of different patterns

Ya know, if I was rich, I'd build a mod-ish style pond. Black and white theme

Either black pebble substrate, then stock it with Bekko, then plant it with white lotus/lilies
OR
A white pebble substrate, then stock it with Komunryu, then plant it with pink lotus/lilies.

But given the amount of poo-poo they make and the amount of possible algae, I think I'll go with the black pebble substrate theme

Don't forget to include some black mondo grass around the edges (Ophiopogon japonica )I don't remember the name of the variety, but there could be more than 1. I guess yiu have to get rich first anyway.
