Kitty Jealous of my Aquarium

.......drinks the water coming out of the filter or trys to drink the water out of any hole it can find on the the top of the tank.  Then it lay on the light fixture and go to sleep, until we catch it there and chase it off!  Sometimes I find cat hair floating on the water 

Why do cats insist on drinking out of everything except their water bowl. My friend gave up and just leaves a couple of coffee cups of water on the counter for his cats.

I have a friend who had two cats who insisted on only drinking water out of the bathroom sink......he finally left it running all day at a small trickle just to appease them.

speaking of kritters in the fish tanks
pickle, my budgie loves "his" fish
we sit together and stare at my tanks/bowls of an hour sometimes
he loves it
but he always tries to eat my bowl fish
he isn't hunting or attacking, he just leans in and skims the water above the fish with his beak as if he thinks he's a peice of fruit/veggi in the water
one day i turned my back for 2 seconds and heard a SPLOOSH!
so i ran to the bowl to see little pickle inside splashing up a storm in a big panic kicking his little feet and flapping his wings trying to grab ANYTHING!
my fish, not startled at all was poking at his wet little feathered bum as if HE was a veggi treat!
i scooped him out immediatley of course!
it was the scariest AND funniest thing i had ever seen!
i'm super parinoid now and i literally scream and dive for him when he lands on the bowls!

We just assumed the tank water had a "fishy" flavor the cats love. But then again the same cat will wait for us to get out of the shower so he can get in the tub and lick the water off the bottom of the tub

yes but he likes the tast of you..... watch out when you sleep.... munch munch that could also be fishy.....
