Kiri, My Australian Cattle Dog

I'm new and just wanted to introduce my Australian Cattle Dog, Kiri.

She's about 2 years old now. When I took her in last year, she was very food aggressive and possessive and she didn't like me -- just my husband. Some minor behaviour problems are still there (still protective of her food), but she has gotten better with every day. And since I'm home more often than my husband, she's gotten real sweet on me too.

Awww, what a little sweetheart! I've had a soft spot for heelers for quite a few years now, and I'm finally fostering a cattle dog mix (we think with Jack Russell, we have our hands full). They're great dogs, so smart and so loyal.

Wow, nice looking dog! Do you have any stock/property?

No stock, unfortunately; I don't have enough land or money for them. The little land I do have, she does keep squirrel-free. Just say "squirrel" and she's out the doggie door checking. The squirrels around here are well exercised. She also loves car rides, chasing lasers, and hoofs.
