Okey Dokey! Just going to post some of the progress as well, so you can see why it took me 6 flipping hours!
First of all, had to get the set up right. Having the table there was SO much easier then bending over all the time!
Put all my new plants into buckets.
Then the pruning and de-snailing started. As you can see the stems on my Hygro Stricta's were beginning to rot
And here you can see what the pesky snails did to my beautiful Hygro Corombosa's
And then the planting started. I forgot to take pictures of the progess of this, because I got too excited and carried away haha
Sorry the pictures are crappy, I really need to get a good camera.
But heres the top view. (Reflection is bad, sorry)
Just a little preview of one corner of the tank
Yesterday I bought 5 more Sterbai Cory's so I'm up to a healthy school of 7 now
And here's the finished product. I need to be patient and wait for the Costata's to grow a bit, it's bugging me not having any height in that right hand side. But I guess I'll grin and bare it for now! Again, I apologise for the poor quality of the photo.
Any suggestions on improvement are more then welcome. Thanks for your continued interest
