does anyone know much about killifish cos i got a male and a female and the male dissapears till im about to switch the light off at night then he comes out as if to taunt me and my female has got fat n sulks at the bottom of the tank but doesnt eat. explanations?

They look like Aphyosemion australe.
I have a mlae and a female and mine are more active after lights out, so it maybe just their thing. I have only had them for a couple of weeks so I can't be more helpfull. Do a google or yahoo for the scientific name and that may help you more.

I find websites not very helpfull when wanting information since you get loads of crap that you dont want to know aswell I prefer to ask real people for a real answer. Thank you anyway least I know I'm not alone. Any ideas about me female not eating yet getting bigger could it just be a swim bladder problem or do they not get fat from this?

It could be constipation, or she could be pregnant.
