I recently decided to make use of the space in my Discus tank by introducing a killifish. I maintain my Discus at around 82- 83°F. Do you think its a good idea. There are lots of good hiding places for the killifish.
Thank you for the advise then I have to rethink the idea and move the killifish to his own tank. Anyway after doing some research I'm trying to get a female to keep it company in a cooler tank.Killifish are fast growing, short lived fish and they die sooner when kept in warm water. So instead of getting 1-2 years out of them, they will probably die from old age in 9-12 months.
