kids got a hold of the fish food

my kids decided to feed my fish, they dumped an entire bottle of "fry bites" and some flakes into the 10 gal holding tank where my angels are.
And they got some flakes in my 2 1/2 gal fry tank....I have been getting some of it out with a turkey baster, and will continue that in the fry tank....but the angel tank is awful, the angels even have fry bites on them......it is in my bedroom and my python doesn't reach back there....what do I do?
does the python come apart to be used manually?
if I vacume it out it will take out probably 1/2 of the water.....won't that be too much?

Please any advise....

Ahhh !! Bless the little loves...... (or words to that effect).

I would net out what you can and then your suggested 50% water change (no, that's not a prob)and a good gravel vac. Give it a day or so and then also rinse the filter media, a lot will get caught up in there. Maybe then look at another water change and vac......

Is the tank cycled? If it is then vac 1/3 the gravel wait 3 days take reading then vac the another 1/3 wait 3 more days then repeat. In the mean times try to get as muuch out as possible with the net. Hopefully your not using an UGF. then clean your decor. oh yeah dont vac your angel
