Khuli Loach

how many khuli loach would you recomend for a 180L/47.5USg/39.5UKg (316.75 pints!) tank
with:
3X yoyo loach
3Xtiger barbs
3x platies
1X blind cave tetra
4xbousmani rainbows

there will be plenty of hiding places and planting

tank not set up yet so any other comments on stocking would be welcome

you could have upto 10 in that size tank, however I personally

i already have two, the cave fish has never gone near them it seems more concerned with tiger barbs, mind you there are plenty of little hidey holes that the blind cave fish cannot get to.
are they really that bad?

Tetras are schooling fish so you should get more of theose before getting Kuhlis. Same with the Tiger Barbs which can be aggressive in smaller numbers. Also the Yo-yo may be too aggressive a fish for Kuhlis to feel comfortable with. I'd say your tank is overstocked with what you have now though.

Confirming this. While yoyo's are not really aggressive, they are too active, especially when young. My five yoyo's suppress kuhlis and don't allow them to eat properly. And you should have >3 yoyo's anyway.
