Khuli Loach Vs. Snails

Kuhlis will eat snails but small ones, no bigger than 2-3mm in size. And they won't decimate the population. I have 5 Kuhlis in a 10 and still have a number of pond snails in there.

our khulis will eat small round snails but dont touch malaysian trumpet snails, our yoyos eat the round snails and occasionally very small trumpet snails but we still have hundreds of mts in our big tank i think their shells are too hard for most loaches. also i suspect our yoyos are too well fed on other tasty treats.
