Khuli Loach Suicide

bloody thing got in the juwel internal filter during maintenance and oops ended up being chopped by the power head

so need to go get more weekend as only got 2 left now , will have to watch out for that with those buggers

Oh no! they do get everywhere! one of my hermit crabs did that in my reef tank,hopped straight into my powerhead *zzzzzz crunch zzzzz* then loads of bits of hermit everywhere,poor dude!

god way of preventing this is to put a hair net over the top of the filter and secure it with cotton, that way nothing can jump in

i had a suicide too, my loach went down the drain when he failed to go into net. i am sorry what happened to your khuli.
my local fish store always ask me how my khuli is doing.

I lost two khulis a few days after I first got 'em. One died in Mysterious Circumstances and the other decided that a trip up the pump would be an interesting way to spend the afternoon...
