Well peeps I am having problems with my KH
My tank parameters are as follows...
Temp 26
Sg 1.026
Nitrates 0.0 ---- 0.5 {running bio pellets}
Phos 0.25
Calcium 500ppm
KH 1 dKH
PH 7.8
Now I do weekly water changes, use a good grade salt {red sea coral pro} and I dont have a lot of LPS or SPS corals, In fact my tank is 90% soft corals. In the past year my parameters have been very stable and the regular water changes have kept them that way . So rather stupidly I have not checked the KH ph and calcium for the last 4 or 5 weeks {what a idiot I know } but after starting with the bio pellets a couple of weeks back I though I better do a full health check up on all the parameters, and to my alarm I found this!!! LOW KH arrrrrrrrrr!!!!
My problem is in understanding why its so low. And my calcium is so high? I am stumped with this one so any help would be much appreciated john
