Thanks for a complete answer.Tank size would be important. A male couldn't, but a female might. The tank would have to be at least 36 inches along the front, as deep. Planting would be essential.
Keyholes can do well in groups until they pair off. Once they pair, like all open spawning Cichlids, you are best to keep just the pair and rehome the others.
