They are supposed to be pretty swift growers under good conditions

Within months your little kenya will be a nice sized tree. Once it's full grown it will begin dopping limbs which will attach to the substrate and start forming new trees. Needless to say it's one fast grower!!

Definately! When its happy it grows very quickly, mine got enormous and started to propogate itself all over my tank. I really liked my Kenya, but i recently gave it to my lfs because i didnt want 20 different Kenya's growing in my tank!

Check out Steal Healrs one year update thread, or his nano journal and youll see just how fast his Kenya Tree Coral grew. I was amazed. Im on the market for some now! :p

hey myne is growing i see white stuff with small little hands like its new cuase its geting beiiger, is it normal for it to retract completely every night and only come out fully when the lights are on? or is this a colt coral? im not sure...

That sounds more like a kenya tree, I believe I have a Kenya on my one multi coral rock and the colt I have from a different purchase only retracts it arms at night. The kenya tree the whole thing shrinks at night.

ya i think its that or just a coral tree, i looked it up n it says the type i have can b poisinous, and for some reason it looks like crap somedays and then others its full out and looks gr8 so idno its a werid lil feller ...

xNOTLOCx, that definately sounds like a Kenya, mine did that too (looking good on some days and like crap on others). When it closes and looks bad, it is probably going to propagate itself. After a while you'll end up with 20 Kenya's in your tank! Thats what mine did anyways.
Good Luck! :good:

oh well thats good atleast tghere hardy lol, thanks for the info are these toxic too like normal tree coral?
