Ken 25 Journal Update New Set Up

Glad you managed to get the extra light you'll cretainly notice the difference with your plants. That'll give you around 2WPG so should be fine to grow most plants :)

Just out of interest, what type of blue is the new one? It looks very pink to me?

its a interpet triplus (promotes freshwaterplant growth) it was recomended by by lfs

ohh, i want too see more pics now that u have more lights!

Nice tank! What fish have you got?

Btw, why does your water have a yellow tinge?

Wow!!! Looks even more natural!

Great job
thanks thats what i was aiming for, i would like a couple more pieces of wood in there but i havnt found any yet, but i will keep looking

Nice :good:

Where's your fish? Have you relocated them in another tank for the meantime or are you replacing them all together?

Nothing I like better than rearranging my tank, so I'm happy you were able to do it. Remember, light reflects off surfaces and off the sides of the glass, so to maximize your lighting, I recommend filling your tank to just past the black rim, leaving no space. Perhaps you weren't done yet.

Tank looks great! Even more natural. Yeah, I'm with FKNM, where are your fish?

Btw, just saw your plant swap in the buy, sell and swap area. Try putting it on this section as well (the one on top of this forum). You'll get faster replies here. ;)
ok thanks, the fish are back now but yes they were in my spare tank most of the day, they dont seem stressed so thats good. i did only put 6 plattys back and left the other 6 in the spare tank with the catfish.

yes i left it a bit low because i had to put the fish back in and they were in fish bags, so with the water in them it filled the tank to the top. i will take some pictures with the fish in. thanks
