I have used metal ring weights and mini-aquarium plant pots to keep my cabomba aquatica and other tropical aquarium plants stable, but they come out regularly and need to be replanted. (the aquarium is a 200-litre) - would be most grateful for any advice that is effective and not too expensive! Thank you - Jonathan S  -

I don't use any artificial means for holding stems down. Clean cut, strip the bottom 2+ cm of stem, and plant each stem individually.

Try planting the ends of the stems at angle into your substrate.

Have you get any busy little fish that could be uprooting your plants?
Also my cabomba gets blown about a lot from the filter outlet.
