Keeping Healthy Plants?

Looking to put a few plants in 6 gallon tank! wondering what plants are good, small and hardy? also any tips on how to care for them!

This is growing beautifully in my v low light betta tank, attached to some drift wood. Love it.

oh secondly! is it risky putting driftwood/rocks in the tank that havent been bought instore? in other words, bits and bobs that i could find at the coastline! :S
 
Yeah, coastline=salt which is not at all good.

might be able to clean it but i'm not the person to ask :look:
 
I always like to keep healthy plants in my pond.Prevention is always better than cure. Good strong healthy plants more resistant to attack by pests or diseases. So start by making sure that your soil is in good condition. The sow and plant varieties. If they are planted out and keep them happy and they can offer to your care.
