So I know a lot of people following my post about my two male Bettas, Ice and Flare. I was really concerned about Ice as he was in a depression after the fight they got into. Well Karma sucks.

I was concerned about Ice having Ich.....well, Flare has ich now :(

Moved him to quarantine, and I am treated him in water that is 82F, with Ich treatment. Daily salt baths.

bad thing is, I have to treat my community tank, as he was in there with my platies swords, and juveniles....

So I added medication to the tanks about 4 hours ago, and the water was nice and blue. (I did remove the carbon) But the blue has faded out...having never used these meds on a filtered tank, is the filter supposed to take out the blue? The water is crystal clear again, like it was before the meds.....

As far as Flare, he the tank he is in is at a good 84F now, and he is still active and eating. Even though there are visible white spots on him, he remains in good spirits, which I feel is good for the healing process. I am so stressed right now lol. As far as the community tank, none of the fish in there have white spots on them, but i have read that generally healthy fish that aren't under stress wont usually get it. I didn't think Flare was stressed, and I checked my water parameters. Ammonia-0 Nitrite-0 and Nitrates-10 (recent water changes)

Soo confusing...

Kordon Rid-Ich Plus

What I've read a lot of is to crank up the heater in the ich tank slowly, until it's 80 deg or smth to hasten the ich's life cycle, and add some salt. Check online for definite answers.

I hadd to double check, but I did post that I had the tank at 82F.
I upped the community to 80F so far, and now the 10g is at 84F. I havent added salt as it does nothing to kill the ich, it does however help with gill function, but seeing as Flare is not having breathing problems, I haven't salted the tanks. I haven't salted the community either as Flare is the only one showing signs of it. I am just treating both tanks because of exposure.
