The time has come to reluctantly sell my beloved aquarium and everything associated with it. Anybody who has an interest in fish keeping will know that this is the Rolls-Royce of fish tanks! The pictures shown here really do the tank justice. As you will see from the list below I have spent well in excess of a thousand pounds on this set up – I shudder to think of the exact figure! Juwel Vision 260 Bowfront Aquarium & Cabinet both in Beech
Both the tank and cabinet are in mint condition. The tank has no major scratches, there maybe the odd minor one, but you really do have to look hard to find them. The Cabinet is not currently in use as it would not fit in my room, but is structurally sound and again has no major scratches or marks on it.

Integrated Juwel Filter System
One small point to note regarding the integrated filter – a small section of the plastic casing has melted from a previous faulty heater, I have jammed up the hole with pieces of cork (as the fish seemed to love going in there) to keep the fish out. This has presented no problems for me whatsoever and has been like this for ages, however as all water will be removed on transportation, it could be an ideal time to carry out a repair if you feel necessary.

Eheim Professional 2227 Wet and Dry External Filter inc. Media
The Eheim Wet & Dry Filter range is one of the most innovative and efficient biological filters available on the market today. Utilising Eheim Ehfisubstrat Pro Filter Media, the Eheim Wet & Dry filter lowers and increases the water level within the canister, exposing the media temporarily to atmospheric oxygen, before submerging it again in aquarium water. As air contains significantly higher levels of oxygen than water, a significantly increased biological colony can be created and maintained upon the Ehfisubstrat Pro; breaking down biological wastes and ensuring that the nitrification process is undertaken swiftly.
The output flow from the canister filter varies dependent upon whether the filter is filling with air or water, creating a unique pulsing motion to the water flow (there constantly a small water flow from the filter to ensure that the impellor does not run dry). This pulsed flow can be extremely beneficial, particularly with reef aquaria.
The Eheim 2227 Wet & Dry Breathing filter is suitable for aquaria up to 350lts, and includes all hosing and filter media required.
Fluval 104 External Filter
A basic external filter, not currently in use, but I will include it in the sale as it is always handy to have a spare filter on hand should the other break. This filter is not shown in the pictures.

There are far too many accessories to list here, all you could ever need and more. I will try to list as many as possible to give you an idea:

* Numerous Water/Disease Treatments – Algae, White spot, Tap water conditioner, tonic salts, etc.

FISH – optional
The fish are optional, as I know some bidders may be wanting to upgrade their existing setup and others may want a setup complete with fish. If you do not want to keep the fish please let me know asap after the end of the auction and I will sell them to my local fish shop. I can take more pictures and email them to the winning bidder, if I can get them to stay still for a second or two!
A very communal tank setup, all fish behave well and do not fight. Some even eat out of your hand.
* 5 Clown Loach – all the same age, but vary greatly in size (quite small to fairly large)
* 3 Puntius Denisonii (Torpedo Barb) – all 2-3”
* 2 Silver Sharks – same age – one is about 4”, the other about 6”
* 1 Dwarf Gourami
* 1 Sucker Loach – about 4-5”
* 1 Black Spotted Cat Fish
* 1 Sumo Loach
* A few Kuhli Loach – although I haven’t seen these in a while, so they may not be included
* One other fish, I forget the name of it, but it only seems to come out once in a blue moon, I assume its still in there some where
If you want to keep the fish, you will also need to keep at least 60% of the water, so will need to bring suitable water container/s capable of holding say 160 litres of water.

As you can see, there is an awful lot of equipment here and therefore the buyer must collect, also bear in mind that it will probably take a few hours to pack everything into your vehicle. I would say a large estate car would be necessary at the very least – although preferably a van. I am located in Southport, Merseyside.
