Juwel Tanks And External Filter Pipes

Hi guys.

I got my new Tetratec EX700 delivered today ready for installation in my Juwel Rio 180 tank. I am obviously going to have to cut holes in the lid for the inlet and outlet pipes

No you don't. Not if you put the inlet & outlets at each end of the tank (one in each of the surround cut outs). The lid fits flush. However, I had to cut a large hole in the back of the cabinet, so that the pipes could be fed through.
